Overcome your fears
Fear is often our biggest hurdle.
It’s what prevents us from making progress and taking ACTION.
Most of us associate fear with a scary experience… Like a haunted house… or watching a movie like Alien for the first time. For me fear is something that we all are familiar with (apart from dark) fear of failure.
We all have some level of anxiety in the beginning of a new venture or a new journey or may be when you step into a new passage. I’ve had that in every aspect of life. Be it my studies, my job, when I got married, even when I became a mom. Overthinking leads to negative thoughts, stress and procrastination and that leads to failure. Of course, they say to give your best shot, do your best, and leave the rest on destiny but I wonder how much that worked for anyone, or if I precisely talk about ME. I don’t say I have overcome my fears, I still get jitters when I start thinking of doing something new but I’m just glad I have accepted the fact on giving your best and leave all on destiny. I have been thinking a lot about taking chances, and how it’s just really about overcoming your fears. Because the truth is, every time you take a big risk in your life, no matter how it ends up, you’re always glad you took it.
If you are constantly afraid because you think you might not be good enough, then you’re never going to be good enough. The moment you are brave enough to accept you’re the right person for it, you will start being be the right person for it. You can conquer almost any fear if you make up your mind to do so. For remember, fear doesn’t exist anywhere except in your mind. We all have these desires of things we want to do, and sometimes they go right back to when we were children. The biggest issue is the issue of `not knowing how’ to get from where you are now to completing that goal. We have this fear of failing or getting it wrong left over from our childhood, and if this happens it will kill the desire entirely. We end up taking the safer route, which is to continue to dream rather than appear as a loser.
The better way to move through life is to remove or reduce that fear and realize we don’t need to know the entire plan. Any big challenge faces unforeseen problems, both in the planning and in the execution. It is crazy to think you can consider and sort every possibility.
You only need to know three things: what you want to achieve, the date you wish to achieve it, and the first step you need to take in order to start the ball rolling. What you fear will not go away by constantly thinking about it, it will go away when you see it for exactly what it is.
so don’t let your fear overcome your faith, face everything and rise. ❤️
